Job Summary: Consultant Obstetrics Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrics Specialist to join this exceptional team in Al-Khobar. You will manage complex obstetric cases, lead patient care, mentor junior staff, and contribute to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform advanced obstetric procedures and interventions as necessary.
- Provide expertise in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement programs, medical audits, and staff training initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Required:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-CCT or board certification experience in obstetrics.
- Expertise in high-risk obstetrics and advanced obstetric care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
- Preferred:
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Fellowship or additional specialization in Obstetrics.
- Experience in a high-volume hospital or maternity center.
