Job Summary: Consultant Spinal Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Spinal Surgeon to join this esteemed team in Jeddah. You will manage complex spinal conditions, perform advanced surgical procedures, mentor junior staff, and contribute to clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of spinal disorders, including degenerative, traumatic, and deformity-related conditions.
• Perform advanced spinal surgeries, including minimally invasive and complex reconstructive procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centred care.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with hospital standards and protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement programs, medical audits, and training initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Required:
  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Spinal Surgery or Orthopaedics (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-CCT or board certification experience in spinal surgery.
  • Expertise in complex spinal surgeries and minimally invasive techniques.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
• Preferred:
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Fellowship or additional specialization in Spinal Surgery.
  • Experience in a high-volume orthopaedic or spinal surgery centre.
