We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a healthcare practice as an independent

contractor. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients with

gastrointestinal conditions, focusing on three days in the clinic and dedicating the

remaining time to procedures and surgeries in the hospital. This position offers a

competitive compensation package starting around $550,000 annually.

• Responsibilities:

how many patients they will typically be seeing

· Conduct thorough patient evaluations, reviewing medical histories, performing

physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.

· Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for a variety of

gastrointestinal disorders.

· Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and

ERCPs, ensuring precision, patient comfort, and adherence to safety protocols.

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, nurses, and

healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.

· Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide

ongoing follow-up care to optimize outcomes.

· Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and self-care

strategies.

· Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology by participating in

conferences and continuing medical education activities.

· Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations and industry

standards.

· Uphold ethical and professional guidelines, embodying compassion, empathy,

and respect for patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

· Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

· Board certification in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal

Medicine (ABIM) or equivalent.

· Active and unrestricted medical license in California.

· Proven experience as a Gastroenterologist, with a background in both clinic and

hospital settings.

· Expertise in performing a wide range of endoscopic procedures.

· Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to create effective, tailored treatment

plans.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration and patient

interaction.

· Commitment to patient-centered care and promoting a supportive patient

experience.

• Compensation:

· Competitive compensation package starting at $270 per hour, with the potential to

earn approximately $550,000 annually, plus additional income opportunities. As an

independent contractor (1099 position), you will manage your own taxes and

benefits.
