Job Summary: Consultant Paediatric Neurology Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Paediatric Neurology Specialist to join this esteemed team in Jeddah. You will diagnose and manage complex neurological conditions in children, mentor junior staff, and drive excellence in patient care and clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of paediatric neurological conditions, including epilepsy, developmental disorders, and neuromuscular diseases.
- Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic procedures such as EEGs and MRIs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, fostering high standards of clinical practice.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records while adhering to hospital protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement programs, medical audits, and staff training initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Required:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), American Board, or Canadian Board certification in Paediatric Neurology (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-CCT or board certification experience in paediatric neurology.
- Expertise in managing complex paediatric neurological conditions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
- Preferred:
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Fellowship or additional specialization in Paediatric Neurology.
- Experience in a high-volume paediatric neurology center.
